It has long been known that Benn Venn was working on a LCD mod for the Sega Game Gear. Way back when he announced the LCD kit for the Atari Lynx, Benn Venn also mentioned he would be working on a kit for the Game Gear but no clear release date was given. Well the day has finally come and it turns out he made an IPS kit which is different from most of the other options available on the market since most use TFT technology. But is the IPS screen a big enough reason for you to use this kit over the others? Let’s compare them and find out!
