Nickmercs played through the Call of Duty: Vanguard event in Warzone with TimTheTatman and Courage on his Twitch stream, and to say he was unimpressed when it was all over would be an understatement.
Nickmercs was not the only big name on Twitch or YouTube to mock the mediocre Call of Duty: Vanguard event in Warzone, with it’s boring, repetitive shooting of a train for 15 minutes followed by a trailer. But while Nickmercs did agree that the Warzone event itself was a huge L, his problems were mainly with the information shown off in the Vanguard trailer itself.
For one thing, Nickmercs, TimTheTatman, and Courage were all a little confused and disappointed that the anti-cheat for Warzone would have to wait till Call of Duty: Vanguard released. Nick called the entire thing stupid, saying it made no sense to wait 3 months for another game to launch to finally get anti-cheat on Warzone, which has been out for nearly 2 years.
Nick and Courage also admitted that they didn’t like the World War 2 setting, with Nickmercs making fun of the bolt action sniper sound effects and saying how the other Call of Duty World War 2 titles were terrible. Courage said he just wanted something close to Battlefield 2042, with near futuristic weapons but nothing too crazy, and Nickmercs said he would have flat out preferred a futuristic CoD, like Advanced Warfare. So when the game finally does launch on November 5th, don’t expect Nickmercs to be first in line waiting for his copy of Call of Duty: Vanguard.
